If you enjoy rich, creamy cocktails, let me introduce you to one of my favorites: the Colorado Bulldog.

What surprised me most is how many people haven’t heard of it.

I discovered this firsthand during a trip to New York. I asked the bartender for a Colorado Bulldog, and I got a puzzled look. Apparently, this wasn’t a drink they were familiar with. The bartender actually Googled the recipe for me, and before long, I had my Colorado Bulldog in hand!

I couldn’t help but laugh. It’s funny how a cocktail you enjoy so much can be practically unknown in another part of the country.

What Makes a Colorado Bulldog So Good?

A Colorado Bulldog is a creamy cocktail traditionally made with vodka, coffee liqueur, coffee cream or milk, and a splash of cola. Think of it as a White Russian with a little something extra!

The combination creates a smooth, sweet, coffee-flavored drink with a touch of fizz from the cola. It’s rich, satisfying, and definitely a treat for anyone who enjoys dessert-style cocktails.

A Little Too Easy to Enjoy!

Now, I do have to be careful with these drinks. I enjoy them so much that it’s easy to lose track of how many I’ve had. Before I know it, I’m feeling pretty happy and chatting with just about everyone!
