Adding protein powder to the smoothie can also provide a healthy dose of protein, which can help build and repair muscles, support healthy bones and organs, and keep you feeling full and satisfied for longer periods.

When making a mixed berry protein smoothie, it’s important to choose high-quality ingredients and avoid adding excessive amounts of sweeteners or other unhealthy additives. Great Make-Ahead smoothie.  Make multiple freezer smoothies and grab and blend and your all done.

  • Total Time: 15
  • Yield: 2 Servings 1x

1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

1 TBSP Ground Flax Seed

1 Cup Mixed Berries

1 Cup (handful) Spinach

1 Cup (or more if preferred) Almond Milk

Add almond milk to the blender first.   Add all the ingredients to a blender.  Blend until smooth and creamy.  Pour the smoothie into a jar with a tight-fitting lid.

Do NOT add the almond milk to your freezer bag.  To freeze ahead of time, add ingredients to the freezer bag in this order:  Ground flaxseed, protein powder, mixed berries and spinach.

Add more or less almond milk depending on how thick you want your smoothie.    Add almond milk to the blender before adding the ingredients to the smoothie freezer bag.
